Your Support Services

Housing Support is here to support you to set up and run your home. We might be able to help to improve your skills, such as:

  • claiming benefits
  • dealing with utility companies
  • finding furniture
  • cooking healthy meals or
  • cleaning.

We can also help with things not directly related to your home which may also be of concern to you, such as:

  • finding a doctor or a dentist.
  • We can support you to access education, training, paid or voluntary work or with parenting skills. It might also mean helping you take part in your local community, following your religion or culture. We can even help with leisure activities.

During your time with us you can expect:

  • A named support worker
  • Your own personal support plan
  • Support to improve your skills
  • Support to help you feel safe and secure in your home
  • To feel part of the wider community

York Flexible Support Scheme- Support for families and individuals facing homelessness living in rented accommodation with a social landlord.

Family Housing Support Scheme- intensive crisis intervention for families facing immediate loss of accommodation with a social landlord.

Supported accommodation for people with long term enduring mental health issues, mild learning disabilities, and vulnerable women.

Sheltered accommodation for people over 55 who want the added security of daily support from our non resident support worker.
