Support Service Customer Panel

We have two Support Service Customer panels, one for services based in Yorkshire and one for those in Lincolnshire. We are always looking for new people to join us on the panels.  The aim of the panel is for our support customers to express their thoughts and opinions on a variety of subjects which could include improving the support section our web site, writing a news sheet and reviewing the information we provide on a number of subjects such as keeping children safe.

We will hold one meeting in our offices at Monks Cross and for the other we will find an interesting venue. Our recent customer consultation event was held at the Bar Convent in York and we finished the afternoon with a trip to the Castle Museum.  We will try to keep these days informative and fun. We will provide a good lunch, refreshment breaks and transport to and from the event.  And to say a big thank you for your time and contributions we will pay £15 to each person attending.

We aim to get a good balance of customers from all our support schemes.

  • Floating Support schemes for homeless prevention
  • Floating Support schemes for the BME communities
  • Supported Housing
  • Sheltered Schemes

This is a real opportunity to influence how we provide the support service to you.

If you are interested in becoming a Support Customer Panel member and would like to find out more , please speak to your Housing Support Worker or phone 01904 636061
